TELL ME I'M SPENDING A MONTH ON A HOUSEBOAT
And I am out the door in a second. Or you could generously transfer me to the beach cabin I will pleasantly spend all summer eating fish and writing postcards to everyone I'm friends with. It's not only our personal space that reflects who we are but our travel (dream) destinations tell what we not necessarily want to share about ourselves the more verbal way. With every trip I feel I'm getting to know myself better (or so I hope), each time I learn something new about myself list of reasons for continuing renewing my passport grows. Let me show you 'three places on Earth I would like to visit before I die' (as a continuation of my 30 day blogging challenge).

Taking a summer long road trip to every fish village on the Italian coast would make my heart skip crazily more than a lot. Bathing in the golden light of an early evening sat at a little coffee table after a silent hike through empty side roads before going to bed late talking pasta cooking class in the morning... Tell me it's not going to happen in my next life.

Picking fresh flowers from a morning market before heading to a nice cafè for breakfast and feeling like hanging at home can't be achieved anywhere else. Hello New York and your glossy buildings, yellow cabs and changing lights. One day I shall make up my mind on choosing the city in its blinding sun or in the snow coating trees like icing sugar.

If England decides to have autumn-like summer I'm off to Tirol mountains to discover shocks of colour at the glistening lake in no time. The views will make sure all the stress melts off with the first cold lager and a smiling husband I will have dinner with at the expensive date spot. Because today I get to be somebody else. A stranger, observer tasting it for the very first time not worrying about days slipping away.

Where would you like to go this, next or any year? x

  1. I love all your choices, the less planned trips the better however touring around our own town would suit me just as well as going around the world. So where are we heading next? ;)

    1. Thank you, Caroline. I think it's time to turn dreams into my goals and gradually open up at the possibilities I could create. You can join me in a road trip, how would you travel - using local transport or your own car? :)
