EVERY DAY TELLS A STORY
I like how life can excitedly change its direction the minute you want it to, the second you feel that's the right decision, this is the next step. I love when it suddenly changes from ordinary to extraordinary within one morning. It has started off very dramatically - if you cannot speed up your child's passport application process while you've already booked a flight for a family vacation (July, we thought we were not coming), well... you can only jump on a plane yourself and apply again in your home country. Funnily enough it is our last chance to have her travel document before we actually OFFICIALLY fly together later on. I'm not mentioning extra fees and headache inducing two-way travel over next 24 hours and of course one of us coming back in a month's time to collect the most talked about booklet, but hey! is there anything better to enliven our life than a last minute surprise? Seeing our dear parents, having a chance to stroll down the high street of our home town in atmosphere of familiar sounds and images? There.is.not.
Whilst
a lot of this trip is a pure joy it is proving to be a tough one not taking our
daughter on board with us. For the first time in our long lived lives our
precious girl will be thousand miles away. I can already feel something caught
in my eyelashes... Luckily - and amazingly – Damian’s brother and his
wife (to their two boys delight) happily agreed to look after Nadia until we’re back to
hug her like there’s no count-down clock timed to the minute (do they realize what they're up to?). She’s gone a bit
children mad and can play tirelessly for ages forgetting who she came with so
it will be natural for her to play, fall asleep on the couch then wake up in the
morning and we’ll be back just in time for lunch. Plush toys, three wheeled
vehicles due to tear and wear process, Barbies in your best accessories please
keep Nadia company, assign time to her needs. In no time it’ll be utterly
family based fun until no further notice.
I’m off spending time with my little flower from this moment
until pj's time then off packing my small cabin bag (can you imagine us walking
through the security check points with our two small cabin bags like business people? ;)
Happy Friday, everyone! xx
