We're back to the cold front no matter what the calendar says and shop windows shout so no open toes or bare shoulders any time soon. Bundled up we still manage to escape boredom and gravitate towards outdoor activities - freezing backsides off on an empty playground, carefree frolicking on a windy beach and re-discovering old paths and half-sprouted branches in the background is our kind of fun these couple of days. Whether we can continue to entertain ourselves this way for a long time is a whole different matter. So my friends, go brighten up your freezing cold day and step out. And then hang out at home and don't leave until you defrost. x
