PERFECTION
PERFECTION

I've always valued the importance of sunshine and its direct impact on my life. When it takes the leading role nothing will feel more relaxed than kicking shoes off and let my toes taste the salt in the water. Those pictures make me feel really happy so excuse us for now, the beach is still high in demand. x

^^ These outfits didn't happen on accident, we take our patterns seriously ;) Also a dab of pink on little eyelids is sometimes necessary to the system. ^^

DISTURBING AND INVITING ALL AT ONCE
DISTURBING AND INVITING ALL AT ONCE

We saw February leaving. It played with surfers for a while as we went collecting pebbles to keep some and lose some on our way home. It moved misty gray clouds as we stopped paying attention elsewhere wondering if it's polite to stare at the waves saying their good-byes. These waves were no joke, I filmed the intensity of their angry bodies for good amount of time with Nadia giggling away when they reached the point we were too slow to escape from being splashed at. If I tell you it's the first time I've seen it happening, don't let it distract you from scrolling down. Every day we're undoubtedly closer to nowhere to be but outdoors so something tells me our frenzied senses will no longer be happy kept locked in. And the weather? We love our coast all the better when we know its habits. And have you noticed? Days are getting longer, I started collecting sunglasses and taking my big lens with me more to enjoy the views with. Hello spring, I know you're there.

THERE IS NO CERTAINTY, THERE IS ONLY ADVENTURE.

It comes in a variety of disguise. Most days than not it finds us in the open space of wilderness of the sky reluctantly merging with icy blue water. Past week was cold yet sunny, windy but only indulging itself while we were ready for it. To see this little face light up at the sight of enormous playground is beyond explanation. So the beach it is before it will be too cold to approach it necessarily snuggled up. Thanks to daylight saving time that extra hour in our possession is fighting for attention in its own illimitable style through Nadia's strong and powerful announcements what to do with it. Agreeing on her concepts saves us unnecessary meltdowns and unfolds creative afternoon scenes that she loves. The open space is always guaranteed to deliver good vibes. We don't settle in happily these long afternoons, a dash of sunlight, sporadic showers can fully ignite that spark for adventure. And of course the need to tell stories, make memories, leave a lasting impression on the sand lets itself in unapologeticly. We feel we need to have them in our life, those silly adventures even if it is just the sand shifted through cold fingers anytime our hearts desire.

THERE IS NO CERTAINTY, THERE IS ONLY ADVENTURE.
THERE IS NO CERTAINTY, THERE IS ONLY ADVENTURE.

THERE IS NO CERTAINTY, THERE IS ONLY ADVENTURE.

WALK OFF AND SEE THE RESULTS - FITNESS WALKING
WALK OFF AND SEE THE RESULTS - FITNESS WALKING

Having a great/good/bearable physical condition and to look like having one is entirely different story. I've always been more on the slim dragonfly-weight side, never dieted, never trained. I crossed ages more less in size 8 until my daughter was born and the word 'condition' stuck with me for the first two years of strengthening arm and thigh muscles while going grocery shopping and conditioning the grip on the stroller. Yes, those were the days I could claim my condition to be good for my body capability and piles of photos taken while at it can vouch. I joined gym for a second and bought a swimming pass but because inconsistency was my best mate, I quit. Whenever I was on or off the toning wagon I knew I never grasped the opportunity with all the tendons concerned. Less is better then nothing but I guess if you start, you definitely want great not average results.

This body needs guidance so I'm on a mission to team up with what best this coast has to offer. In its windiest season. I am a pathetic runner but have a potential to be an excellent walker. Years of traipsing around town have laid the foundations on the way to more than just a casual stroll. So quick look at the weather forecast and my trainers were introduced to surface other than my carpeted floors. First time walking was more of a fun then a proper workout but I still managed to walk at a regular pace adjusting  my breath with my step ensuring I felt a little raced heartbeat for a better circulation. Without a pedometer it's just a different kind of fun but squeezing the right muscles I had forgotten they still could be obedient occupied my mind the good way. Another walk and another release of endorphins, corrected foot placement, a little warm-up in the afternoon sun. Then a change of scenery for fun, finding routes offering challenges - sandy beach, pebbly path, windy dune. Yes, I ached all over after the first stroll and still am at times but I feel energized and happy, pleasantly exhausted. I'd love to try to walk in different weather conditions: strong wind or rain to challenge my new-found body. I said I'm on a mission.

Fitness walking can be fun and can provide a great workout (and what a nice excuse for feet massage!). I'm lucky to be living at the seaside so my routes are challenging while the views lift my spirits for extra motivation. Gather clothing that suits the season, pick up a nice location and start with easy daily walks gradually increasing distance and speed. Good luck, dears!  x

BEACH WILL ALWAYS HAVE MY HEART
BEACH WILL ALWAYS HAVE MY HEART

Born and bred in Polish lowlands and having never swam in the sea before, I hesitantly went to greet it. To this day beach as nature's wonder gets me pretty excited however lying on a beach towel in the dazzling sun will never make a fan out of me. I just don't like that heat pinching my skin and there's no place to hide away from it other than your own beach hut (which unluckily isn't in my possession). What am I doing on the beach then?! A girl is allowed to change her mind once in a while (and more understandably at 95 ºF).

It was the highlight of the weekend, we enjoyed it so much, I almost forgot how hot it was. I'm extremely late to the game, I know but recently purchased bikini is a pretty good sign. As long as it doesn't rain.

HOW WE LIKE YOU, SUNNY DAYS
HOW WE LIKE YOU, SUNNY DAYS
How did you spend your weekend? We spent the first of many (I hope) sunny days at the beach sifting sand, creating castles with rocks found inches away from our wet feet exposing cottage cheese skin to our endless embarrassment. It was quite windy and rather late for beach frolicking (working mama's treat) so excuse my photos in full gear. I promise to attract some sun rays already being pretty fond of my skin at some point this summer. I need a clear sky like celebrities need their botox injections and Nadia our pots and lids to play successfully. As now we're finally getting what's been claimed for ages of dreariness, rest assured for more shots of us making new memories. Weather's already done its best. Did you manage to catch some sun, tan or just fresh air?

^^ Whether local or not the views always delight the eyes at every turn. This time however I focused on a community of mussel beds stuck on stone pier they're pleased to inhabit. Fascinating how many elongated and asymmetrical members colonized the area and how thrilling it was to find them in their natural habitat rather then packed and frozen on the supermarket shelf. ^^

^^ My thoughts are racing to keep up with the teasing sunshine - I have neglected our summer wardrobe and beach equipment hasn't been searched for either. I'm instantly super-alert with seasonal changes, this year blame it on the weather's behaviour. ^^

^^ Mornings and evenings spent with this little lady make them special and unique. Days revolve around deciding on the ice cream flavour (she loves chocolate just like her daddy leaving all the sourness of fruit to me), dancing like a joyful monkey, quirky tales and new ideas. ^^

Thank you my lovely readers: Meena, Carolyn and Corinne for commenting on my last post - I'm full of mixed emotions when sharing personal stuff especially as this is still an unfamiliar territory to me. I am grateful for your response though I didn't anticipate it. Time is going by fast and I want to focus on the present, travel long distances to surprise others, write short messages just to tell them it's warm outside and I hope they're happy too. For me you are present even if you live outside of reasonable driving distance... x
