HOW WE LIKE YOU, SUNNY DAYS
HOW WE LIKE YOU, SUNNY DAYS
How did you spend your weekend? We spent the first of many (I hope) sunny days at the beach sifting sand, creating castles with rocks found inches away from our wet feet exposing cottage cheese skin to our endless embarrassment. It was quite windy and rather late for beach frolicking (working mama's treat) so excuse my photos in full gear. I promise to attract some sun rays already being pretty fond of my skin at some point this summer. I need a clear sky like celebrities need their botox injections and Nadia our pots and lids to play successfully. As now we're finally getting what's been claimed for ages of dreariness, rest assured for more shots of us making new memories. Weather's already done its best. Did you manage to catch some sun, tan or just fresh air?

^^ Whether local or not the views always delight the eyes at every turn. This time however I focused on a community of mussel beds stuck on stone pier they're pleased to inhabit. Fascinating how many elongated and asymmetrical members colonized the area and how thrilling it was to find them in their natural habitat rather then packed and frozen on the supermarket shelf. ^^

^^ My thoughts are racing to keep up with the teasing sunshine - I have neglected our summer wardrobe and beach equipment hasn't been searched for either. I'm instantly super-alert with seasonal changes, this year blame it on the weather's behaviour. ^^

^^ Mornings and evenings spent with this little lady make them special and unique. Days revolve around deciding on the ice cream flavour (she loves chocolate just like her daddy leaving all the sourness of fruit to me), dancing like a joyful monkey, quirky tales and new ideas. ^^

Thank you my lovely readers: Meena, Carolyn and Corinne for commenting on my last post - I'm full of mixed emotions when sharing personal stuff especially as this is still an unfamiliar territory to me. I am grateful for your response though I didn't anticipate it. Time is going by fast and I want to focus on the present, travel long distances to surprise others, write short messages just to tell them it's warm outside and I hope they're happy too. For me you are present even if you live outside of reasonable driving distance... x

  6. Hi Eli,

Loved seeing your sweet family photos of your trip to the beach.
It is one of the nicest things to do - the fresh sea air, a walk along the beach with your bare toes can do wonders. I love the little beach huts.
Thanks for the mention, from last week and hope that you are enjoying the weekend
    hugs
    Carolyn
