When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Or don't do anything drastic to the fruit and intend to be silly for a while because the yellow roundness lying around as juicy decoration was simply asking to be picked up, squeezed, shaken and played with to a serious concern of passers-by. There's rarely an activity, escapade or idea I have to persuade my friend to (I'm quite spontaneous so we're match made in downtown heaven). We jump right in, each for a different taste of discovery varying the destinations for interest and fun (gimme more lemons). Whilst visiting Salisbury Cathedral our day wasn't limited to the sacred air and variations on our echoing voices. Once we stepped out to venture the fields and ice cream flavours there were crowds around us, assorted houses, vibrant colours sun recommended from every angle, Nadia staying one jump ahead of us on streets full of character where medieval meets modern and toddler meets public (kids stores).

^^ It's almost inappropriate to admit I'm exposing my legs for the first time this summer! Hitting you with their low pigmentation and high level of goosebumps. Still.in this.weather. I give up. Also you'll never fail to spark curiosity in little mind. ^^

^^ Almost sub-zero temperature places of worship have always overwhelmed me the good explorer's way. I'm finely tuned to tired grey stone, fresh in all the right places watermarks of time resumed underneath my strappy wedges. How do you feel about old churches and castles, their place on the paths of your journeys? ^^

^^ Speaking of kids stores, thrift stores, markets, easy access shelves plentiful in goods with unintentionally omitted price tags, Nadia seems to be in the process of getting inspired just by a touch, a glimpse even. I love how by just looking at her finds you pretty much know their hers (whether they make it home or not. So quite understandably some thoughts on a toddler in consumer wonderland are calling). ^^

Hello, yellow! Do you like the enhanced hues on bold coloured areas for more energizing purposes? I tried it waaay back here and was enticed again by lovely Taza spreading photography tips and ideas about lifting colours in Photoshop for more vibrant outcome (you have to admit her yellow always resembles ripe lemons or primroses in full bloom, I can't possibly decide).

    1. Thank you, Nat :)

No, not much of a country fair but crowded all around and we liked the gift shops of hand made puppets and toys. x

  2. I really like the enhancement on colour and contrast resulting in more dramatic images. Photographing and editing bring equal satisfaction to the taker and the viewer. I'm definitely loving it!

Churches are always good spots to visit on any trip sharing their history with those who can be still excited about old and forgotten.

    1. Hi Christy!

Yes, we had lots of fun as there's never a dull moment in a life of a three year old. Every place is explored to the brim. xx

  4. I love the cathedral! My family and I visited Canterbury Cathedral almost nine years ago, and I'll never forget the experience. You're right; there's something about ancient, cold stone that's so fascinating and almost haunting.
