MOUTH FULL OF STRAWBERRIES

by - Tuesday, July 23, 2013

Summer means a lot of natural sugar entering bloodstream. The more ripen up sweetness the greedier we get. One basket of strawberries from our grocery store will definitely not make our season but the whole field undeniably will! After Nadia's last ballet class of this term we got changed into more comfortable ensemble and drove to the nearest farmland. We browsed over broad bean plants, picked strawberries and gooseberries but skipped still sour red/blackcurrant fields I offered Damian a handful of to my own delight (girly jokes no one understands). It was like Christmas in the peak season for Nadia: she ran, held baskets for us, ran some more, decided to pick one or two fruit and turned her head away from green gooseberries but I understand her since it's the red ones that were waiting for us all this time. Loaded with four baskets we went to the till impatiently waiting to get our teeth on the sweet finds. We're still licking our fingers! x

^^ The busiest ballerina ever, no rest for her feet. ^^

Little fashionista is more and more involved in choosing her pieces so all the credit has to go to her. Have a great day!
