ADVENTURES IN OUR BATHROOM WITH MATEY
ADVENTURES IN OUR BATHROOM WITH MATEY

It had been raining since Monday clearing up just after 1pm each day surprising us with a spectacular show of lightning and angry thunders last night. We've stayed indoors mostly because when it's this wet we end up noticing our tiny flat more however we were eager to see the clouds reflected in black holes of puddles on the streets so we went out yesterday. We met Erin and her mum at soft play area but that's story for, like another day of dreariness and storm. So when the sky tears up on us we appreciate a bath time come earlier than usual - for extra bonding time, more bubbles and uncontrolled bursts of laughter. To double our splashy fun bubble bath brand Matey has sent us this beautiful limited edition waterproof bathtime book written by mum of two: Emma Greaves about the adventures of the Matey characters - Max, Molly and Peg Leg which are Nadia's favourite bubble bath characters of all time. They never fail to serve solely as Nadia's puppets in girlie plays but it's easy to navigate the story while having it written in a little poem. The night the book arrived was highlight of our day - it was a vehicle helping rubber hippo cross the foamy waters, it was read from cover to cover with some weird sound effects coming from already noisy bathroom. Seeing the magic and excitement in Nadia's eyes was so cute to watch I had to get a few snaps. You know I could spend all my waking hours on moments like these.

  1. Hi Eli,

Bath time looks fun and doesn't seem that long ago when my kids were having bubble baths and their little plastic books.
    Happy day
