THERE ARE STILL TREASURES TO BE FOUND
I do not usually quote Angelina Jolie as she is one of the quieter celebrities and rather than talk for herself, she hides behind others' words. But her recent, however compact quote: 'To get big, risk big' fired up my imagination with the idea of letting my mind shape the rest of my life. I have always been fascinated by publications describing power of human's mind and the way we all are able to turn things around just by adjusting simple thinking habits as our reality begins inside our skulls. How can I derive from the lips of a great value? (pun intended). Well, I've already pushed myself towards unbelievably risky edge by spending almost 30 years on denying my own happiness. What if I dedicate the next 30 and more years to fulfilling my dreams? Will I risk it? Will I risk spending money as I was on top of the richest list, talk to people like I was the super confident girl in town, wear high heels for everyone to hear it on pavement, make love as I was in love for the first time?
*Risking big - letting go of fear and doubt completely through stepping out of one's comfort zone. It does not give an idea of what the possible outcome might be but opens new door, shows possibilities, leaves hope. I'm taking this risk...
Can you believe Christmas is only two weeks away? As the year comes to an end, it's time to reflect on the past and focus on the future. 2013 has been like a tonic to me, shaken well, stirred ferociously. I don't mean I'm keen on herbal tea this time but I'd be glad with at least half of what it claims to be. Happy endings and happy beginnings, girls! x
