I prefer things that are unusual, rare and giving goosebumps just thinking about them. On the contrary I hate unsettled issues and unknown future at work. I have been unemployed for a while only working a couple of hours each morning in a nearby pub and the uneasy feeling of not making the most of my time kills me. Winter in this part of England is pretty quiet in an employment department so I tend to spend the days lounging around the old house in an effort to speed the days up. I
hope soon I can tell you more about job opportunities I'm into but
meanwhile I'm so happy to be around such lovely people (and people they're having over on a regular basis), bunch of animals I can pet without embarrassment. No matter what I'm really excited for the upcoming spring and things it will bring on the scene.
I like the room that is quirky, intimate and unique showing personality of its owners. Beautiful view is not a must but unarguably helps to unwind easier. Creating our personal space on the foundations of items being already in someone else's possession can be daunting and lack individuality or create unnecessary chaos... it doesn't really matter as long as it complements the same aesthetics. Rough wooden floors were always my love affair so once we were back to familiar walls and floors, all we had to do was just soak up the atmosphere and balance it with simple pleasures like making dumplings or spying on a wild deer coming so close to the kitchen window it was almost impossible to see elsewhere. If they ever put this place on the market, my purse is saying 'hello'.
