FROM THE COMFORTS OF OUR SANDY BEACH

When you get so tired that all you want to do is dig yourself under the sheets and sleep for the rest of the afternoon, our idea to spend this time outside might prove to be crazy. It was indeed but would you resist a sunset at the beach followed by a carrousel ride to the sound of an overjoyed laugh of a toddler? I thought so. It was sunny day leading to red-cheeks-and-noses type of evening and my hair hasn't gone that wild in a while. But we loved every minute of this fascinating relationship of sky, sea and the sand revealing its overwhelming amount of possibilities from leisure photography to making heaps of sand creations. And on those soft pink skies, bright and sparkly carrousel stood out beautifully like a gem in coal with us being the only wind riders looking out for Damian's hat in the crowd of passers by.

I feared we've extended our cold by the beach escapade (although you would need a calculator to count layers of clothing I sunk in) so I took a long warm bath followed by snuggling into cozy blankets with warm drink in hand while Nadia... didn't really care of any of the above precautions I took. Her colds last hours unlike mine but that's not the story for light-heated.

On the creative news I've been trying to make this little nook of internet space as much enjoyable to my readers (me included) as possible so some design changes were implemented with a lot more to come in near future (I'm talking days, my dears). And I want to give you a sneaky peak of an art project I'm overjoyed with in hope for my first giveaway! Can't wait!

  1. If spring doesn't come soon we'll experience more red-cheeks-and-noses type of evenings. Quite okay with me.

  9. Hi Eli,

Thank you for following my blog and I am following back - we must have been doing it about the same time.
Loved seeing your day at the beach photos and how gorgeous the carousel is, must have been fun and adore the little beach huts.

    Happy day

  10. Hi Eli you posted a comment on my blog Writing in Heels saying hi. I added you. I love you blog! The pics of the beach fascinate me we dont have anything like that here in Australia. We have big wide open beaches with no little huts or beach houses - maybe some down past Melbourne but I have never seen them
    Take care
