5/30 - HEY HO, AS THEY SAY. BUT YOU KEEP READING

Hey ho as they say
you keep reading

I caused a sensation today. I crawled into bed unnoticed holding digitally unrecognized object and stayed this way for a good fifteen minutes until I was found by the rest of the household. Yes, I've read a chapter! In weeks, months even and my Amazon's account can testify. You see there's not many things that are so therapeutic and relaxing for me than slipping into bed with bound pages in hand. Ideally for more than fifteen minutes at a time. Also our way of life just isn't reading adult stuff friendly and books are rather last-minute treats before midnight or extinct species. With Nadia's approval I hope I can begin reading revolution again.

Do you remember my 30 day blogging challenge? It sits at the back of my head and I'd love to continue it while figuring out outfits and adding numbers to our already gone-bonkers fridge magnet collection. So on day five (plus minus two weeks) the challenge brings 'the best book(s) I have ever read and a book that I really want to read'. I don't need time on this one. Of all positions that have acquired smudges of my fingerprints 'The devil in the flesh' by Raymond Radiguet scandalously turned me into an admirer of adolescent irresponsible love games so not mentioning 'Lolita' by Vladimir Nabokov or Marcel from Proust's masterpiece would be regrettable. I owe them a debt of taking people without editing and not giving age rights to overtake emotions. And the one I want to read? Anyone I can finish, haha! Have a great day my lovelies.

P. S. I've joined Instagram yesterday night so if you want to check the gallery of what's been snapped with my fancy phone (before I hit the sixth photo) or follow me - check out the plugin to the top right. You may begin now. x

  13. Hi Eli,

So glad you could slip away and read a little - it is hard to find time in ones busy life... and isn't it so much nicer holding a book, than an e-reader.
thanks for visiting me today and your kind note, lovely to be able to visit you too.

    Happy weekend
    hugs

So glad I clicked on your comment that led me back to your blog, your posts' contents are info and image juicy so expect to be seeing some regular comments from me. If you fancy over-sized coats, then you've gotta check out my new textured over-sized Viktor & Rolf runway coat (got in on sale of course, phew! lol) accompanied with provoking color-block accessories. Tell me just how provoked you are! ;P

  21. Oh I completely get that! Reading in bed is one of my favourite thing as well, I could stay there and read for hours. Unfortunately it gets a bit difficult lately, the only moment I have is usually quite late at night and I'm usually too tired to read more than half hour before my eyes close by themselves.
