COLOUR IS THE STARTING POINT

I managed to make it through my adulthood in black eye pencil and black mascara if you don't count an occasional brown eyeshadow or eye liner. Should I be panicking? I've never been an experimentalist in areas which worked the way I liked, I stuck to tested routine... and admired it on others. For a long time I haven't gotten excited over clothes or nail varnish respectively, I have my hair done once or twice a year (now that I'm growing it out I've put the scissors down for even longer). Somehow I've worked not much of a change into my appearance over the years and not surprisingly the major issues grew in me over time until I've gotten to the point I wanted to work some magic on what I've got with both enjoyment and embarrassment so excuse my limited experience in that matter. There is a reason to all that safe neglect (remind me to tell you another time) but not acquiescence anymore.

So when my skilled friend suggested to perform something out of my comfort zone on my eye lids: lots of sparkly turquoise and green, I happily obliged. I didn't follow it throughout of course but enjoyed every step of brush swipe near my tear ducts or under the brows. I will try to recreate the look realizing it will take a little bit work to get it right and being soo intense I'd fear everybody will look JUST at me! But never mind, two day trip is all I can think about at the moment so a little practice is needed to achieve at least half of my friend's efforts. It was really fun, I'd recommmend it if you want to do something amusing one evening. x

^^ Like mother, like daughter - Nadia's eyelids also enjoyed a lot of attention from my friend's eyeshadow palette. Didn't want to wash it off before bed. I'm raising a girlie girl, what can I say... :) ^^
