WE'RE SO INTO THE WAY THIS LIFE TURNS
Life overwhelms again. Suddenly afternoon dates dusted their coats off and stepped ahead first time in seasons. Thanks to Nadia, her kind kindergarten and the weather almost making it work for us that day. It was pretty much just a quick meet-up at the nursery's door with my husband taking half day off at work and drive away to not-all-things-serious (picture me flirting with those citrus minions). With two afternoons a week to avoid just about everything grim we're ready for it, yeah let's do this thing more often! As you may predict the afternoon turned into window shopping, triple chocolate cookie tasting and not at all Harry Meets Sally kind of date. Although we tried we turned into those unquestionably mindless parents-run-free and did what time and place allowed without being forced to visit toddler-friendly departments although the idea never disappeared from our minds as we pointed at things she would like or she would unarguably abandon an evening later. I loved it to the last rain drop catching us just after picking up Nadia and snapping a few photos on our driveway. So yes, the afternoon date groove continues. xx
