WHEELS FESTIVAL AT OUR DOORSTEP
Occupied would be understatement, busy falls under an exaggeration so let's settle for three days full of activity of all sorts. I mentioned in the last post about Wheels Festival we had opportunity to witness over the weekend advertised as Britain's biggest wheels themed family events across the town and seafront. We contentedly watched motorcycle stunts from afar and had beautiful and historic classic cars racing so close that their bygone charm made up for any noise they made. We're so lucky to be living in a place that surprises us every day with well-known and totally and utterly new things happening within its boarders. We walked all afternoon until the sunset then headed back home passing by our shoreline bestudded in carrousels, candy floss stalls and bouncy castle abandoned for the night. So as long as there are things to do and admire, we're all so so in.
Those stunts, guys. A taste of what people are doing in their free time while others are thrill-seeking elsewhere. They're meant to be admired and we did just so.
Did I mention the race course? On
the streets of our town prepared for swishing and whooshing way before
the event took place. We learned where it was okay to cross the road and
where we needed more than a guide to blend in and stay safe. Forget
Monaco, change a lifestyle and stay with us for the weekend. I only
wished this was your thing. xx
