IN PICTURES
^^ In this weird in-between seasons time we still adore a little dress up. And that mouse hat is one of those things Nadia can't bear to be without. But there are a few key pieces she ensured I'd put on her wishing list for the summer so I guess something amazing will be going on at all times. ^^
IN PICTURES
^^ That's how our spring days will look like. Minus the hat, and the fur. And possibly only more chocolate happening. ^^
IN PICTURES
^^ This profession is non-negotiable. Especially that it encourages pink. ^^
IN PICTURES
^^ Nobody can argue with too many ice creams. We've waited too long. And we will not let go of for like forever. ^^
IN PICTURES
^^ To infuse more cuteness to an otherwise ordinary living room Nadia is beyond competition. Are we concerned it might be a new trend? Yes, that's why we only tell you guys. ^^
IN PICTURES
^^ Simple, playful but why exactly does it work? Lively rhythm of colours - never have one, always have more. Those toes are pretty darn proud of themselves, I can see that. ^^
IN PICTURES
^^ Ridiculously awesome moment - every morning to be exact. ^^
IN PICTURES
^^ Summer made easy when you know how. ^^

IN PICTURES
^^ A trip to town and what a compilation of finds! Note that it was a transitional shopping trip for items to serve us now and for next couple of weeks. ^^
IN PICTURES
^^ This winter I am amazed I recognized the innocence of hats. The practicality. The graduation towards a vision of a particular day. Hair washed or not, share the invention, spread the excitement. It’s not really that different from Nadia's knee-high socks we’ve never heard of but can’t live without either. Keep asking, I’ll produce more stories of how this winter was so generous to us. After discovering turtlenecks last year and leggings past spring we’re curious what’s in store once May is over. ^^
IN PICTURES
^^ I'm telling you this secretly - evenings are the coziest but mornings are the sweetest. And it's not changing in the upcoming months. ^^
IN PICTURES
^^ I thought it would take us a couple of weeks to start shedding layers of clothing. Nope, the sun is here, the changes it has in mind have started taking place and I will never critically look at the sky again. But I cannot be sure. ^^

ONE COLD DAY AT A TIME
ONE COLD DAY AT A TIME

Each time I upload pictures to the computer I can see a hat, scarf, fluffy hood. How many miles are we from North Pole? It's usually harmless to stay bundled up until end of February but settling with the thought beyond that point is less than thrilling. And those colours confuse us terribly because really aren't we in season already? How soothing is that? Then March came along and been keeping things interesting in a good old fashioned way varying the features. We can handle most of them, just take a look at the gif at the bottom - favourite image of ever, right? Have a mild in temperature day! x

NOT THE ONES FOR SITTING STILL
NOT THE ONES FOR SITTING STILL

Say you've lost count of the number of Kinder Surprise chocolate eggs eaten. More interestingly you've lost count of the number of toys self-assembled between sugary bites and instead of parting with them the conventional way, you're looking for ideas that might just give them a little more room to shine. We're talking animal toys needing home. It seemed like fantastic challenge to make something out of scraps of paper, buttons and lots of paint. Abundance of green with the lake in the forefront. Even Shrek would approve. We used pine cones as pine trees and pebbles as mountains, sticks and leaves and it looked just like we wanted it to. I love the moment when something bland and unfriendly plain turns into things that are recognizable. Creating surely is one of the raddest occupations.

^^ Remember me mentioning the cherry blossom light bulb droppings? Their lives are purposefully preserved.^^

NOT THE ONES FOR SITTING STILL
NOT THE ONES FOR SITTING STILL

^^ And it started off plain and noticeably necessary to use up every inch of the scandalously empty space. It could have stayed like this. There were no guarantees.^^

THIRTY SOMETHING'S THOUGHTS ON PARTYING

Going out is fun and addictive, I don't think you ever really stop. So here's my situation. Before going out the last thing your best-going-out pants have on their stretchy mind is to eat. Even if you are going to have a small portion. Eaten in a jiffy. Because chips from down the road will speed up the getting ready process but really how many is enough? On a big night... I’d say it’s different for each design. You’ll always eat with confidence, denim or not, textural or safe, most especially if you’re not into collecting phone numbers. Everything will be forgiven after midnight.

Dress on a night out always spoke to me loud. They feel feminine, catch all the dizzy eyes, sometimes they’re just all that you need on. Trousers on the other hand... Could they happen and work? Even if my inner sex bomb protested, the outside conditions were saying otherwise. It’s freezing and I’m working the next day so no, I don’t really fancy coming down with something already fought two weeks ago. So denim jeans and long-sleeved chiffon top were put together. And it felt right. My new very favourite outfit was painlessly conceived. But that’s not the end of your favourite story. I don’t really specialize in moves on the dancefloor without frilly fabric dancing with me. What one does with hands, how one handles that nothing blows up? The thought was terribly unsatisfying. Until I realized you basically do it the same. If you want to. Move is a move, hip shake still a cute option to get everyone talking, no point feeling less special living the dream in pants. I’ll keep it in mind next time I make such dramatic choice.

When you hear ‘Black and white’ by Michael Jackson in the club you thank your mum and dad for getting together just so you always recognize this song. Way cooler when you’re mostly surrounded by folk half your age available for a spin. What more could you need? And it’s not even three in the morning. Also a bit of Elvis will never let you down.

Is it just me or it is a classic move to try fellow dancer’s hat on for extra bit of a situation? I’ll let you not to answer. Cause it might be just me. Or the Elvis. Or both.

So you go partying. And forget the door key. And this time you’re not going wild as you would after grocery shopping. Nostalgic, that’s how it feels. Cause this is the feeling we all know and recognize. Pause for a minute and start texting and calling. Banging helps too. x

FOR THOSE SEEKING GLAMOUR TREATMENT

FOR THOSE SEEKING GLAMOUR TREATMENT

Can I wear it just now? Pair it with the rest of fifty shades of grey in my closet (with occasional citrus hue and friendly pastel)? Weather forecast will not mind, in fact it slowly gives me permission to live in this pretty dainty accessory practically alongside anything I already own. Those of you who know me well (like know me inside and a bit out) will understand why Fossil Ladies Georgia watch is an enormous bag of win - it will go with almost every piece on my hangers, the genius design confuses the senses shouting masculine on the front but whispers feminine on the back of wrist (pretty adjustable chain bracelet unfortunately not seen on the picture). I never felt so sure about something so small and delicate but I guess my personal motto adjusts well to what dominates this spring. By far the easiest (and possibly cheapest as I could win this) way to incorporate some power accessory that will never get neglected. So something tells me to keep raiding my closet. I can see it with neutrals and brights, can you? x

DAYS YOU'D OTHERWISE NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH

DAYS YOU'D OTHERWISE NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH

These days it's all about mental stimulation - from story telling to rhyming, taking alphabet by storm, focusing on numbers and their purpose and generally investigating paths Nadia's imagination is shifting through. Hands stay not less occupied, literally every week new ideas turn to projects that turn to real objects that turn to garbage... eventually. No, not really. Most of them are stored away in boxes for trips down the memory lane in near future. Weekends or not we pack lightly and go out on child-friendly adventures. I don't stress over the small stuff - if it rains, it will stop even if there's never good news in soaking through so sometimes we stay dry for three hours and sometimes it rained every twelve minutes. Keep calm, you will feel normal again.

Also the kind of piece of clothing Nadia is more than sure about and talks about it in the most delightful way is... a bra. I mean, four and a half year old will easily remind her mama when the right time comes. And if she decided to need one, certain purchase was in order. If you own more than you can wear, you reach for the basics. It’s not even the right size! But it works and it kind of stays on forever and life’s pretty awesome again.

DISTURBING AND INVITING ALL AT ONCE
DISTURBING AND INVITING ALL AT ONCE

We saw February leaving. It played with surfers for a while as we went collecting pebbles to keep some and lose some on our way home. It moved misty gray clouds as we stopped paying attention elsewhere wondering if it's polite to stare at the waves saying their good-byes. These waves were no joke, I filmed the intensity of their angry bodies for good amount of time with Nadia giggling away when they reached the point we were too slow to escape from being splashed at. If I tell you it's the first time I've seen it happening, don't let it distract you from scrolling down. Every day we're undoubtedly closer to nowhere to be but outdoors so something tells me our frenzied senses will no longer be happy kept locked in. And the weather? We love our coast all the better when we know its habits. And have you noticed? Days are getting longer, I started collecting sunglasses and taking my big lens with me more to enjoy the views with. Hello spring, I know you're there.
