STORIES IN AN INCREDIBLY UNFRIENDLY ACCENT
Aside from important registering documents we came away from nearest Weymouth with a photo overload and my absolute favourite in a shape of a little tan. Because you can never get better hue than by the water. The first half of a long day was spent on business while the reminder of a sunny afternoon revolved around exhausting and relaxing. And things don't seem to be slowing down anytime soon! In today's sunshine I took my jewel print dress out pairing it with a patterned scarf, neutral shades and awesome mustard handbag brightening up every outing. Yellow really makes all that difference.
Once we savoured lush sea views I'm going to show you next time nobody could resist fish and chunky chips overlooking seagulls fighting over the leftovers of them. Shell picking, getting the pulse racing by running on still quiet beach and concentrating on English adjectives and nouns in order to help my brother speed up his job searching process summed up the day. Still feeling a little bit under the weather he's been adjusting well to - quoting verbatim - 'incredibly unfriendly English accent' (how I love its softness he can't yet appreciate), moody skies and exposed cleavages (while I'm bundled up as spring never came). Things are a lot harder for people trying to make it here than they were five or ten years ago and I've learnt and keep learning every day how encouragement and praise can lift the spirits up and studying anything is rather pointless without an element of fun (hope you're reading this, Dave ;). So more outdoor posts to come and some exciting getaway destinations to be announced however far they are.

DeleteHi Eli,
ReplyDeleteLovely family photos and looks like you had a great weekend.
You can't beat fish and chips on the beach and having the seagulls dine on the leftovers.
Happy May
hugs
Carolyn
Thank you Carolyn. Fish and chips overlooking the sea can hardly beat any other yummy treat. Have a great week!! xx
DeleteI don't like traveling in business but when we do there's always fun time involved. Where is the next stop?
ReplyDeleteAs long as we travel the reason for doing it doesn't really matter. I hope we'll end up in Highlands soon ;)
Deletebeautiful pictures.Love the seaside views and bet nothing can beat the hot chips.
ReplyDeleteOnly a few things but yes, they are in minority xx
