║today my way║

You would never have guessed what I ate (and in what amounts) for the past week. Take a look at the variety of food I enjoyed (without gaining a pound or two so far) while getting sunburn walking on the beach. A lovely sushi and grilled salmon to tuna paste with black olives and not so delicious celery, broccoli and cucumber juice (it was barely drinkable but I managed... before heading to the bathroom) completed the menu. On top of that my mum sent us a little packet with sweets and lollies we hardly kept for later. Like later than this evening. If the weather stays as fabulous as it's been we'll soon try one too many seaside eateries (OK I will, not Nadia) and you'll be confused with the idea of my blogging. This is one of many many reasons I love living by the seaside because it gives me the opportunity to enjoy the visual pleasures as well as sensual.

Just so you know mummy, today I am in a possession of your bed and holding on to my laptop while munching those Haribo bears I will not be of a very much use at all. I might just as well be left alone with my cartoon. Thank you.

1. Bust up with a little help from this gorgeous gel 2. Body lotion from dreams
3. Multi-purpose body oil 4. Shower cream my skin has fallen in love with
5. Bye bye cellulite, thanks to my high definition body cream
6. Almond shower oil I can't cope without

Not just day to day events and decisions create who I am but also I'm made of what comes into contact with my skin. Cuddles and kisses are the absolute proof of the art of overusing so why not help my skin on its way to happiness?! Look up and proceed to satisfy your body's needs! I have been using most of the fabulousness above over the past few months (multi-purpose body oil and shower cream have started off yesterday and I augur them a sweet life in my bathroom) and apart from sensual feeling, only the visual results count. As for the senses - hands up for the peach extract, candlenut oil and orange blossom scent in a moisturising body lotion that stays long after I've taken my clothes off. And I'm totally into the almond shower oil being incredibly soft on my skin (and not ruining my budget).

Now into that 'wow moment' - judging bottled miracles after the battle (with time and free radicals, and maybe a little beauty inconsistency). I put it down to the high definition body cream and drinking more mineral water that my cellulite is less and less visible (especially with no contact lenses on) and legs look skinnier and visibly smoother than ever. So here it is - my lifetime of makeover in bottles. They're winning! But not stopping here, there are sooo many beyond fabulous out there! Will I have enough time to try them all? Will you have enough patience to read it and get a peekie of me being a product of hundreds of patents and work of intelligent lab people? It's too bad if you miss it. Well, don't. Come back when I make it. And come back if I won't.

Simplicity at its best - feeding the ducks and a swan, swinging in the air, sliding down the smooth surface. Exercising those stiff limbs. And heading home having popcorn on the sofa watching Alfred Hitchcock Presents. This weekend was fabulous, I love having them off work which happens now and then.

I wanted to take my husband out for sooo long that finally - just the two of us sneaked out this Friday evening and had a fabulous time at the cinema and hankering for something to eat afterwards, we found a little sushi bar called Sushi & Roll accidentally while walking to the car. I had a bit of Japanese in London earlier this year and was yearning for some more since then. I have no idea if the cute little bar just opened up or has been at the end of our nose for ages (I hope not!) but I am smitten with the kind service, beauty of food made in front of us at very affordable prices. Now I know what my diet will be like...

The night was perfect - holding hands like teenagers, taking pictures outside the cinema and inside the cute sushi bar and freaking out at every bleep coming from my phone to find out there was nothing to worry about - our daughter was in safe hands. Big thanks to my friend for looking after her while we were pretending to be dating again!

If you've seen lots of fuchsia colour recently, it might not necessarily be roses, orchids or gerbera flowers. There has been a lot of petite pink hood walking alongside the seaside carrying her blush pet-handbag. There's no stopping her from counting the daisies on the grass, jumping from stony walls, throwing ball far too close to the sea. And when snarled by the cool evening air resting on the casual bench - now we knew taking pet handbag was a well thought out move because of hiding most precious girl's accessories including protective lip balm. Once beauty routine was completed and perpetuated digitally, we ran down the hill (we never walk since Nadia discovered running) where our car was parked.

I love this almost unreal happiness of us being silly and sweet and little annoyed by the weather. Going places and coming back right before it's too late to cuddle on the sofa. Stay tuned if you're in love with life's simple pleasures...

These are not screen caps from one of Alfred Hitchcock's movies building up the tension however Nadia could be a new master of suspense. I was lucky enough to admire her changing face from the distance while she was watching cartoon on TV. From a bored looking to a surprised and a little thrilled face, she finally found her happy ending and gave it a big smile.
