  • Opening the wardrobe and finding dozens of items from the latest looks to everything that feels stylish and updated in the world of buttons and bows. Yes, yes... you know I'm not talking about my wardrobe.
  • It's impossible to describe the bond shared between my nails and nail varnish remover. We're inseparable before I finally get some results with colour and shape.
  • My UV rich face cream is nearly finished. I'm just glad the weather is suitable.
  • Got into a reading habit. The process was quick and painless so far. I tend to live in two to three (unrelated) stories at the same time.
  • I love my easily satisfied self. So far using glycerin-peat soap was the best form of relaxation.
  • I used to love the idea of living in a loft apartment showing off my artistic soul in variations of paint marks and stains on furniture or wooden floor. My dreams become reality - spectacular signs of an artist living with us are trackable throughout the flat.
  • Things from childhood I no longer experience: I don't own wellies anymore and don't
write letters on pretty stationery. My inner child is depressed.
  • Packing the fruit and little snacks for every day outings with Nadia and bringing most of them back home like I had not much to carry around these days.
  • Ordered stuff online knowing it'll be delivered while I'm at work. How cruel!
  • Have watched Toy Story so many times this week I have stopped putting toys away at the end of the day. I started believing they would go back in their places themselves.
  • Placing my mobile phone far away from bed so I have to get up... to press the snooze button.
  • Our flat is always the tidiest in the evening when we're ready for bed. I should have visitors at night only.
  • Finding ridiculous hours for showing affection or dropping things half finished just cause Nadia is sleeping. She keeps our marriage alive.

GLAMOUR WITHIN REACH
GLAMOUR WITHIN REACH

Soon, me and my friend Aga will have not only matching lifestyles and habits but nails too. She has introduced me to nail art in which she’s way too good to compete with but slowly my inner artist opens up for dotting tools, stickers and glitter. I’m pretty certain shimmery gems are the last thing I expect to see on my nails on a daily basis but occasional creativity progressing into mandatory play with colours and shapes (mastered it since the birth of my muffin) will be a fantastic addition to my life. Wait until my next attempt being worth every damaged stud and liter of nail polish remover.

GLAMOUR WITHIN REACH
Have a fabulous weekend and come back to have a peak on our new adventures, outfits (in two sizes respectively) and thoughts. We were busy on all fronts! x

INSERT SMILEY FACE - WE'RE ON THE ROAD AGAIN!
INSERT SMILEY FACE - WE'RE ON THE ROAD AGAIN!
INSERT SMILEY FACE - WE'RE ON THE ROAD AGAIN!
We seem to love short getaways, a day is enough to stroll down the street, grab an ice cream, look around the corner and jump in a car for a ride back home. One day of spontaneousness speaks to us louder than a day of preparation and usually it's never defined on our personalized calendar. Not every choice of trip decided on the spur of the moment is completely washed out of some errands that have to be ran but we always focus on the fun factor throughout. It's the deal. Sealed with a huge dose of positive expectations and right coordination. With Damian in tow we're more on a neatier, organized side.

Before there was still hope to get Nadia's passport ready before family holiday (those cases take light years to complete especially when you're torn between two countries and no one really knows which one is closer to your heart, let alone residency status in this case) - traipsing at a snail speed on London's busy sidewalks cheered every cell of that tiny body emerging from underneath stores' canopies into the sunshine. Brisk walking, avoiding short showers with a friendly grin was marking our afternoon. As typing this I came to realize how annoying my requests to stop here or capture this might have been. Getting impressed by a window decoration, unusual change of scenery as I rebel around? Everything seems so real to me these days, so within reach if you're willing to touch. The hues, textures are so permittive and I'm grateful for the luxury of noticing and embracing them.

As we drove home I hugged that sleepy head of mine in the car seat next to me (I haven't sat in the front passenger seat since the day she was born and I'm happy never to do that again) knowing how lucky mama I am - her presence is magical, her monologues are wonderfully vibrant so much so that I needn't do anything but melt.

^^ Fast-paced but productive shopping. Unlike me, she knows exactly what she'd like. I predict a wonderful shopping buddy in near future. ^^

Before the weather roughens like it does at the blink of an eye under fashionable sunglasses, we overwhelmingly managed to mix doing something and nothing during those sun kissed days (with 'something' meaning not practical at all but always memorable).

WHILE THE JUICE REMAINS UNPROCESSED
WHILE THE JUICE REMAINS UNPROCESSED
WHILE THE JUICE REMAINS UNPROCESSED
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Or don't do anything drastic to the fruit and intend to be silly for a while because the yellow roundness lying around as juicy decoration was simply asking to be picked up, squeezed, shaken and played with to a serious concern of passers-by. There's rarely an activity, escapade or idea I have to persuade my friend to (I'm quite spontaneous so we're match made in downtown heaven). We jump right in, each for a different taste of discovery varying the destinations for interest and fun (gimme more lemons). Whilst visiting Salisbury Cathedral our day wasn't limited to the sacred air and variations on our echoing voices. Once we stepped out to venture the fields and ice cream flavours there were crowds around us, assorted houses, vibrant colours sun recommended from every angle, Nadia staying one jump ahead of us on streets full of character where medieval meets modern and toddler meets public (kids stores).

^^ Sticks to what Nadia does best, with people she likes most ;) ^^

^^ It's almost inappropriate to admit I'm exposing my legs for the first time this summer! Hitting you with their low pigmentation and high level of goosebumps. Still.in this.weather. I give up. Also you'll never fail to spark curiosity in little mind. ^^
WHILE THE JUICE REMAINS UNPROCESSED
^^ Almost sub-zero temperature places of worship have always overwhelmed me the good explorer's way. I'm finely tuned to tired grey stone, fresh in all the right places watermarks of time resumed underneath my strappy wedges. How do you feel about old churches and castles, their place on the paths of your journeys? ^^

^^ Speaking of kids stores, thrift stores, markets, easy access shelves plentiful in goods with unintentionally omitted price tags, Nadia seems to be in the process of getting inspired just by a touch, a glimpse even. I love how by just looking at her finds you pretty much know their hers (whether they make it home or not. So quite understandably some thoughts on a toddler in consumer wonderland are calling). ^^

Hello, yellow! Do you like the enhanced hues on bold coloured areas for more energizing purposes? I tried it waaay back here and was enticed again by lovely Taza spreading photography tips and ideas about lifting colours in Photoshop for more vibrant outcome (you have to admit her yellow always resembles ripe lemons or primroses in full bloom, I can't possibly decide).

HOW WE LIKE YOU, SUNNY DAYS
HOW WE LIKE YOU, SUNNY DAYS
How did you spend your weekend? We spent the first of many (I hope) sunny days at the beach sifting sand, creating castles with rocks found inches away from our wet feet exposing cottage cheese skin to our endless embarrassment. It was quite windy and rather late for beach frolicking (working mama's treat) so excuse my photos in full gear. I promise to attract some sun rays already being pretty fond of my skin at some point this summer. I need a clear sky like celebrities need their botox injections and Nadia our pots and lids to play successfully. As now we're finally getting what's been claimed for ages of dreariness, rest assured for more shots of us making new memories. Weather's already done its best. Did you manage to catch some sun, tan or just fresh air?

^^ Whether local or not the views always delight the eyes at every turn. This time however I focused on a community of mussel beds stuck on stone pier they're pleased to inhabit. Fascinating how many elongated and asymmetrical members colonized the area and how thrilling it was to find them in their natural habitat rather then packed and frozen on the supermarket shelf. ^^

^^ My thoughts are racing to keep up with the teasing sunshine - I have neglected our summer wardrobe and beach equipment hasn't been searched for either. I'm instantly super-alert with seasonal changes, this year blame it on the weather's behaviour. ^^

^^ Mornings and evenings spent with this little lady make them special and unique. Days revolve around deciding on the ice cream flavour (she loves chocolate just like her daddy leaving all the sourness of fruit to me), dancing like a joyful monkey, quirky tales and new ideas. ^^

Thank you my lovely readers: Meena, Carolyn and Corinne for commenting on my last post - I'm full of mixed emotions when sharing personal stuff especially as this is still an unfamiliar territory to me. I am grateful for your response though I didn't anticipate it. Time is going by fast and I want to focus on the present, travel long distances to surprise others, write short messages just to tell them it's warm outside and I hope they're happy too. For me you are present even if you live outside of reasonable driving distance... x
